Ludlow 2008/2009

Seems like Williamson has been there forever, what year is he?

I believe he is a senior this year.

Thanks. Will they have any under class men contribute?

Who do you think will be the top five players in the conference?

No particular order but Bryan, Eastin, Romes, Snyder, and Flannigan.

I also forgot to mention Trey Beuttel of Beechwood. I've seen him at some summer games.

Ludlow could contend. Williamson and Shelton down low. Zach Stegemoller (who by the way is the 3rd Ludlow PG in as many years to break his left wrist during football) will control the ball the the Panther's and Bret Betz can shoot lights out!! No joke... He should keep Shelton and Willie open down low with that 3 point touch.

P.S. All 3 PG's were also Ludlow QB's. Really ironic...

I am looking forward to see how this team does this year. I think they have quite a few kids returning. The Shelton kid is big and they say he has a nice shot. Watching them play the couple times I did last year, I feel this year will about them being able to play as a team and not as individuals. They have the talent to win the conference. I've also heard you will from a couple kids who didn't really play that much last year. At the least they will help their depth. Don't remember the Betts kid as their shooter, I thought Williamson was their main shooter. The more shooters the better!!!

Rouse was supposed to be the shooter last year, but he had a hard time after the broken wrist in football season and never really got that shooters touch going again. Plus Logan took alot of shots from him before he was dismissed from the team which is a shame since he didn't always or (or ever possibly) make the best team decision. Williamson SHOULD be down low and not a shooter at all. With that being said we all know how it is trying to get a high schooler to get down low and do the dirty work all the time.

Sportsnut. You seem to know this squad a little. Do they have the talent if it comes together to win this conference?

They do have alot of talent. Alot will depend if coach puts them where they need to be. Last year he had a lot of kids out of position. They will have to play mistake free basketball as B-wood will more than likely outdo them in size and athleticism, but in overall talent yes I do believe so. What I'm getting to i guess is if they will be out coached or not will determine it.
