A new coach has been named at Knott Central, Jamie Couch. Jamie played at KCC, I believe, in the late 80's early 90's and has been coaching the softball team for the past few years.

I thought that they would wait until August, myself. I guess it's better to get it out of the way and let the boys know who they will have come February.

Any word on what Gary Hammonds is doing?

 

Coach is coaching a Summer team from Oldham County. I haven't heard if he is going to stay at Knott Central to continue to teach or seek another coaching job. He is far from done with coaching baseball. Coach will be somewhere, coaching in the future very soon. If I hear anything I'll update.

He did do some basketball games last season. I don't know if he will be this year.
