I would like to see Apollo and Lawrence County in the finals.

Should be a very good game. Apollo is very solid and PRP is as well. Both teams hit the ball well and should be a good pitching match-up.

 

Taking advantage of RISP and executing the fundamentals, while playing defense, will win this game. Apollo is better than some may think, since many haven't seen them play. PRP, has been one of the favorites this season.

What is interesting is the decision before Coach Miller. Do you throw Zach Cox in the semifinals where PRP has bowed out the last two years? Last year they kept Cox back for the finals and he never got to pitch. I wonder if he will throw Trey Harper and repeat the same thinking from last year and keep Cox back for a possible Maronde/Lawrence County matchup?

I think Maronde plays for Lex Catholic and by rule Maronde can't pitch till Sunday because he went 5 1/3 against Harrison Co. and that equals 6 innings pitched and he would need 3 days rest to be eligible. I'm pretty sure if Catholic wins we'll see Champa pitching in the finals. I think this is PRP's toughest opponent in this tourney and I think Miller pitches Cox cuz like you said the last 2 years they've been eliminated in the semis. I like PRP in this one but it'll be close two very good ball clubs going at it should be a classic.

They should throw Cox against Apollo, if they do they should be in championship game and everyboby has burned their ace. This is 3 yrs. in a row they have been the clear favorite to win. Maybe 3rd time is the charm OR maybe they are going for a Hat Trick.
