May 6, 200818 yr http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3382026 Is it safe to say that things aren't exactly looking stellar for Marvin? Here's what we've got so far (a summary of the article)... One source says - Victim came into Playmakers around 5 P.M. and got into an argument with Harrison. The victim left the bar, heading to his car, with Harrison following. Gunfire broke out and the victim was hit in the hand. A two year old boy suffered a cut under his eye from a shattered car windshield cause by the gunfire. Police determined the bullets were from a custom-made Belgian gun and that Harrison owned a gun that matched. When they questioned Harrison at his carwash, he admitted that he owned the gun but said it never left his house. However, a source says the gun was discovered in a bucket at the car wash and tests show that it had fired seven bullets that match those found at the scene. I guess the only thing we don't know for sure is whether the source is telling the truth or not. If the answer is yes, then things look really bad for Harrison.
May 6, 200818 yr But he's such a role model for all the "childish" WRs in the NFL.... On the field he was... The key word is was, because this changes everything.
May 6, 200818 yr On the field he was... The key word is was, because this changes everything. Things change very quickly. It's not like people are still saying he's a role model. No one saw this coming.
May 6, 200818 yr But he's such a role model for all the "childish" WRs in the NFL.... Do you think people that claimed he was a "role model" saw this coming? Why act like they did something wrong by saying it? Before this happened, no one had any reason to believe Harrison shouldn't be a role model. He had stayed out of trouble and kept his mouth shut as far as everyone else knew and that is something those "childish" wr's had not done.

No, I just find it ironic that the "choir boy" of WRs turns out to be the biggest thug of them all.
May 6, 200818 yr No, I just find it ironic that the "choir boy" of WRs turns out to be the biggest thug of them all. You are acting as if those who considered him a role model should have seen it coming. No one could have expected this.
May 6, 200818 yr You are acting as if those who considered him a role model should have seen it coming. No one could have expected this. Nope, just that everyone has their demons...I can't stand how people made him out to be such a super duper guy. How can someone tell that from watching a guy play football once a week?
May 6, 200818 yr No, I just find it ironic that the "choir boy" of WRs turns out to be the biggest thug of them all. I don't think this make him the biggest, but I have lost respect for him. I will still say on the field WRs should conduct themselves like he did...
May 6, 200818 yr Nope, just that everyone has their demons...I can't stand how people made him out to be such a super duper guy. How can someone tell that from watching a guy play football once a week? He didn't whine and complain on the field. He didn't make a big deal every time he scored a touchdown. People liked him for his on the field actions, nothing more, nothing less. Who cares? It's all in the past anyways.
May 6, 200818 yr What a loser...The NFL needs to send a statement and start banning these pieces of trash for life. A one and done policy...one run in with the law other than perhaps a minor traffic violation and thats it, kiss your career goodbye forever.
May 6, 200818 yr Author I am interested to see how this progresses and how the commissioner deals with Harrison...aside from the legal questions, could he be looking at a suspension from the NFL?
