May 1, 200818 yr I am under the impression that "church " is for bringing souls to Christ. I do not thing that politics need to be openly discussed in the pulpit. I also thought that it could cost a church their tax exemption. Am I wrong?

I also thought that it could cost a church their tax exemption. Am I wrong? Any church can speak prophetically from the pulpit. What they can't do is endorse a particular candidate and engage in endorsing him or her with their resources. A church does need to be prophetic in it's calling. How that prophetic word is delivered is usually the dividing point for most.
May 2, 200818 yr God Blank America. Said in the pulpit and more than once. I don't think so. He is a false teacher. Wolf is sheeps clothing.

While I probably agree with your conclusion Larry, the phrase you mentioned was not uttered as a curse as much as a petition that God would **** America. That is an extreme petition but one that is uttered (if not in those words) by many towards other nations (i.e. China, Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, Iraq, Iran, et al). I'm not agreeing with Wright's assessment but merely describing what I believe to be his intent.
