Toyota has brought thousands of jobs to Scott County. It is a growing suburb of Lexington. Cheaper housing, etc. That has made it more attractive for parents to move their kids to Scott County to play ball. That is what Toyota has to do with the 11th.

I agree. I was expecting the usual answer and I'm still pretty sure that is how the poster that made the statement meant it.

I know Mannings parents work at Toyota, but he has been in the Scott County system many years. But most of these rumors about Toyota jobs and links to Scott county are just that.... rumors.....

Exactly. Folks outside of the area have no idea what goes into working at Toyota. I have been looking into the process for myself lately, and I really dont think there is anyway that SC could have any bearing on anything. Toyota is too big and is a worldwide company. It's foolish for some to think Toyota can be influenced by little ol' Scott Co. School system.
