Final.

I have nothing on Ryle as I only showed up for the top of the 7th but I do have some Dixie stats. Chamberlain started for Dixie and went 4 2/3 getting the win. Nichols came in in relief and struck out 7 (I believe that is what was said.)

Cahill 3-4, 2 1B's, HR

Nichols 2-4, 2 1B's

Dettmer 2-3, 1B, 3B, BB

Does anyone know who pitched for Ryle. Any other stats or info on the game. I had to coach my younger team tonight and could not be at the game.

Sebald started for Ryle and went 6 plus innings. Dixie put up 6 runs on the board in the 2nd through a combination of errors, walks, and several well-struck balls. Ryle chipped away a little and got it to 6-4 in the 6th and had runners at 2nd and 3rd with one out when Nichols was brought in. He got the final two outs of the inning and then struck out the side in the 7th after Dixie had tacked on another 5 runs in their half of the 6th.

Very little meaningful hitting for Ryle once again. Campbell goes yard, Etcheid gets two hits, and there were a couple of well hit balls right at someone, but bottom-line is that the sticks are pretty dormant in Raiderland right now.

I love seeing this score.

Thanks for the update. Too many good players for the Raiders. They have gotto break out soon. Hope it happens soon.

Right now Ryle can't seem to get key hits, can't get key plays when needed in the field, and can't throw the out pitch when ahead in the count. That sums up last night where Dixie has two big innings plus they get the key hits, plays, and pitches when needed.

I love seeing this score.

What, you like seeing a team get beat bad or are you a Dixie fan?

^

Dixie fan on this day.

Dixie seems to be much better this year...the Raiders had their number the past few years. As long as the Raiders get it together by May they will be fine.

Dixie is following the same pattern it has for years. They start off slow, pitching is good usually but the hitting isn't there. Now that it is around the middle of the season their hitting starts to heat up and they will play good good ball from now through tournament time.

They will be facing some good competition starting today and through the weekend down in Harrison County's tournament. They start tonight with Brossart.
