No. Fairview was a regular season game.

Raceland won the 16th Region All-A Championship by defeating Bath Co. and travels to Paintsville to compete in the All-A Sectional. I'm not sure about about date & time.

Paintsville game will happen on Tuesday. Game time I am not sure usually its 5:30.

 

Rams need to hold their heads up and come back with a good game on Tuesday.

Tough loss for the Rams, the Rams just need to shake that loss off and get ready for the sectionals and Paintsville.

Do you think the RAMS could have won the game if they had started one of their other more experienced pitchers? I heard they had a underclassman pitch the game, were they saving the other pitchers? Matt is a quality pitcher and always does a good job against the RAMS, I would have liked to see one of our better pitchers throw to try to get the WIN going into Paintsville Tuesday! We always like to beat Fairview!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would think that right now the coaches were thinking more in the lines of having all of the top or more experienced Raceland pitchers ready for the sectionals.

I do agree in Raceland always enjoys a win over Fairview (in any sport).

Give Fairview credit for the win though, we (Raceland) are not into making excuses, congrats to the Eagles on the "W".

I don't think it is a guarantee that the Rams would have won regardless who pitched. The Eagles are playing well the last few games and would be a tough matchup for anyone. I do think Coach Hoof sent his young pitcher to the mound with all the confidence in him that he would get the W. I'm sure he also wanted to get his young pitcher some quality innings against a tough opponent to prepare his Rams for the All-A Sectional this week and for district play later on down the road.

 

I agree, it is always a pleasure when we beat Fairview!!!:thumb:
