OK....what's going on with Conner. I know they are not deep in pitching but it sems like the bats got quiet as well.

Very well played game by the Braves, they hit the ball well and got the job done in the field. A few shots hit tonight would have been out of the park in most stadiums in high schools. The Braves are ow 9-2and seem to hitting their stride, keep up the momentum and don't let up.

Sounds like Grant County may have a nice squad this year, congrats to them.

Grant Co. is a solid team. I know that one of their Sophs. has been a key player for what is now the Cincy Flames 16u team for 3-4 years. The Flames won the 15u NABF World Series last year.

What is going on with Conner? They had a great start but they seem to be quieting down?

The Conner bats have gone cold this week and they just cant produce the timely hitting when they need it. They have had double digit runners left on base two of their past three loses. The Cougars need to keep their heads up and keep playing.

 

As for last nights game the Braves they hit the ball well and made the plays in thei field. They also capitalized on Conner's mistakes which helped in the end.

Inability to throw strikes killed Conner last night and Grant County had the key hits that Conner didn't.
