I don't like playing the "what if" game unless something appears imminent, but I am intrigued by the people (both here and those I talk to at work) who would love to have Pitino back. What I wonder is, do you think Pitino could rekindle the same magic as before? IMO, he is a different coach now, a different person, and the game has changed also. Look at the scoring average of his UL teams. I think expectations would be much too high to be attained and the fan base would turn on him within a couple of years.
