I don't understand how you don't consider Hazard as one of the favorites in the region. They played terrible and almost beat Letcher Central. They beat Perry and I agree with fanatic on the officiating. They played a tough Lawrence Co. team to the wire until Lawrence scored a couple runs late. Take away the 1st inning against South Laurel and it is a 2-3 run ball game. Hazard came out of the gate slow, but that was due to the couple of days they had to take off for the state tournament. I see Hazard in the top 5

I see Hazard in the top 5 as well. I just don't think that they will be there in region semi-finals. It really depends on how the district shapes out. If Hazard beats PCC again. I will change my mind. I'm just not convinced, yet, that Hazard is a region favorite to win it all.

I would put KCC in the rebuilding category. They are young. If KCC gels and gets better, they may make a showing in the district. Which, by the way, will now be held at Cordia. The reason is that Letcher's field isn't ready and the teams traded hosting years. Good luck to Hazard the rest of the season. :thumb:

 

They have been rebuilding for 8 years now, must be a huge project.:devil:
