Technically speaking according to the KHSAA he is not a transfer, but he did not play in the Scott County feeder system. Some are saying he could possibly contribute at the varsity level along with Manning this year.... Your thoughts?

 

I have heard he is probably on Manning's level. I have never seen the kid play.

He's solid, and very smooth, nice jumper and good skills.

With regard to contributing at the varsity level next season I have my doubts. I don't see him on Manning's level right now, because he has not played any varsity ball. The speed of the game is different and it is much more physical. He will need to get much more physical to play at the varsity level next season.

I would say they would have to, Scott County generally does not take folks t live out of district unless their parents work for the SC School System.

Yes he is in school at Scott County! Yes he will be on varsity! Yes he needs to get stronger this summer! But for now he is smooth! Love his game!

Ivey is not in school at Scott Co. He still goes to Bondurant Middle in Frankfort (Western Hills feeder school). Rumor has it that he will transfer to SCHS next year. That will be kind of unfair to the WHHS staff, who have worked hard to turn that program around the right way, if he does transfer.

I would imagine the staff is going to be working with Manning on his jumper. He puts the ball a little too low, right in front of his face.

He is in Scott Co. Middle school! Know his family very well! lvey is in the 8th grade along with Manning!

You might want to double check your facts.....Manning goes to Georgetown Middle School, Ivey is not enrolled in the Scott County School System and I can guarantee you he is not at SCMS, you may want to call the family.....
