NCAA rules prohibit Miller from playing in more than two all-star games before he graduates from high school.

 

That doesn't affect the Kentucky-Indiana series, which is played in the summer.

The 8th edition of the Charm City Challenge will take place on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at the Towson Center.

 

The Charm City Challenge is designed to be a showcase for this talent-rich area. The local teams are always up to the challenge and always put on a good show-- win or loose. We hope that you enjoy the event and remember that this may be the last time you see some of tonight’s participants in a basketball uniform. Others will have the opportunity to continue their careers in college and some may one day pursue their dreams of playing in the NBA.

 

Charm City Alums have gone on to have successful college careers with four of them being members of NCAA Championship teams, while another four have participated in the Final Four.

 

Former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket star and current Portland Trailblazer Jarrett Jack is the event's biggest alum, while Josh Boone (New Jersey Nets), Dijon Thompson (Atlanta Hawks) and D.J. Strawberry (Phoenix Suns) have also been selected in the NBA draft. In fact, a Charm City alum has now been taken in each of the last three drafts.
