The bottom line is that Coach Hicks is a very good Coach. At Greenup he became only the second coach in school history to win a district championship. In his last season at Greenup and his first at Bath his record is 44-16. At Bath this year he did one of the best coaching jobs that I have seen in a long time. Bath won the district for the first time in 31 years, won 20 games for the first time in 24 years, and had their first winning season for the first time in 18 years.

Coach Hicks is a solid BB coach. He needs to mature a little and stop being a cry baby. He will be coaching a long time somewhere.

Can someone tell me who Jim Hicks is?

He is the nephew of the famous Billy Hicks, coach of Scott County and who he (Jim) wants to be just like him (Billy).

As Augger stated earlier, if you want a show on the sidelines, it is worth the price of the ticket to see Jim perform. But I thought it was about the athletes.

Just curious, did you ever have the opportunity of watching Coach... sorry, former Coach Daniels and Alvin Ratliff on the sidelines at Rowan Co.? Coach Hicks doesn't even compare to those two when it comes to crying. Alvin Ratliff made the Viking sideline look pretty comical at times with his antics toward the officials.

Seeing how Billy Hicks is the top coach in the state, it makes sense why he would want to be like his uncle. :thumb:

I dont see coach Hicks going anywhere but at Bath county.
