The Chargers closed with a 14-3 run in the final 1:39 to win it.

 

Thomas Jackson had 20 points to lead the Chargers. Nick Gagel (17 points), Tim Jackson (16) and Richard Kennedy (10) also had big nights.

 

Aaron Williams scored 21 points to lead the Crimsons.

I wish Manual could have won. Nothing against Jeffersontown, but I'd like to see a few new faces at the state tournament occasionally.

With all the young talent at Manual, they will be knocking on the door for another two or three years.

Manual is a great team. Kimbro Jr. will be one of the best players to come through this state when he hangs up his High School uniform.

Did anybody catch the classlessness after the game tonite??

Saw Manual play 3-4 games this year (but not J-town), and thought they might make the sweet 16. Kimbro probably the top freshman in the state.

The future looks bright for Jtown. They are led by 3 sophomores (Thomas Jackson, Tim Jackson and Richard Kennedy). Add sophomore Aaron Cosby to that group next year and Jtown will be loaded for the next few years.
