How 'bout Cory Rogers in the top 35 in only his 2nd year of playing basketball. He has made so much progress this year. He has really helped the Cards this year. The coaching staff has done a great job working with him. Good Luck Cards! Looking forward to an exciting game tomorrow night.

I am so proud of him:thumb: I had no idea that he was ranked in the top 35 in the state. I agree the coaching staff has done a great job with Cory, but also all the players. I never dreamed we would be as good as we are this year, but ( inconsistent at times....) Watch out for another Freshman Travis Pervis...hope he gets to play tomorrow night...he is sick.

GRC will be good the next couple of years.

I am going with the upset.CC wins by 3pts as they are very motivated after the heartbreaking District final loss. They have some horses in Albrecht and Franzen and Parks and Nerl are pretty good as well. I think they catch GRC on an off night and send them home early.

I hope not, but the Cards have had a few games like that this season... I believe due to youth, inexperience. (North Laural, Rowan Co.) This Campbell Co team worries me. But as my son and I was talking last night, coach Humphrey is one of the best coaches of having his team ready for tourney play. Cards play like you did in the AIT and Finals of the District.:thumb:

I like the youth of the Cards. The Stenzel kid is a very good player and with Rogers coming on they might just make a run to the finals. Good Luck.

I'd like to see some stats on Campbell field goal percentages. I may be wrong , but it seems they do a pretty good job on 3 point field goal percentages.

If the game is allowed to be in the 70's then Clark wins big time. I might be wrong, but there is no way the Cards put up 91 again especially against the Camels defense. I believe if the game is kept in the high 50's, low 60's then Campbell has an excellent chance at the win. Either way you view this one, could be the best 1st round game of the entire tournament. I am looking forward to it.

I agree. GRC needs to control the tempo of the game, and stay out of foul trouble. Not sure how much help we will get from Freshman Travis Pervis, he has been sick.

Your statement leaned toward the idea that CCHS (players/staff) have never been in the 10th, not towards coaching experience. CCHS and BBHS have been members since 96. The game Saturday was a joy to watch and I have seen these ball clubs on a couple occassions this year. I think they are heading in positive directions and could make some noise the next few years, maybe more.

One thing is true though, after watching 10th Region basketball for 15 years 16 and 17 year olds are unpredictable, anything can happen...look at our District, the 40th, didn't think that was going happen!!!

The current players of the CC team haven't been to region thats what I am saying. Or a District final for that matter. Your right about the direction they are heading in, they are a good team, but to say they are experienced come tourney time is inaccurate, whether it be Code as a head coach or his players.

It's a strange situation that Campbell County is experiencing when their style of play is a slower tempo but the team seems be pretty comfortable at fast paced game. I believe as you've seen with the pevious posts that everyone feels the Camels can't handle an up tempo game. I don't believe that's the case at all. I'm looking forward to seeing Clark play, I've heard a lot of good things about them.

I agree, they are pretty athletic and would seem to be able to run the floor well.

The Cards are better this year than I thought they would be. We were hit hard by graduation. This group is such a joy to watch.

Good luck tonight Cards.

^ You almost called it. GRC didn't have that good of a shooting night until the very end. They just hung in there and finally made the plays down the end to get the W.
