Apparently the Camels are the only team that are allowed to be good, Thats why they will be sitting at home next March while Brossart and Scott will be in regions again next year. I'm done argueing with you, obiviously you can't get over the fact that your team couldn't handle the expectations of winning a district they should of easliy won if Scott and BB were so bad. Its obvious that this was the first time the Camels Coaches or Players have been in the 10th. No knock I think the Camel players and coaches handle themselves well and are a very good team, but most fans are ignorant on what good basketball is.

Keep this thread on the Clark vs Campbell game.

Campbell has two all region players in Albrecht and Nerl. Clark has two as well in Hatton and Stenzel. It will come down to the supporting cast of both teams. Tempo of the game will be the key. It seems like the three is a huge component of the Cardinals gameplan.

I expect the main offensive and defensive weapons of each team to play well. It really comes down to those secondary options. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Ben Franzen brings so much more to this team than anyone can realize. He can score just as well as Albrecht and Nerl, he never hesitates to shoot and he's always hustling, he is a good defender and causes alot of match up problems with teams due to his size. If he has a good game I'll take the Camels but it won't be an easy one. I expect it to be a hard fought game decided by 8 or less.

Sounds like a knock to me Mr. Mix...so I did a little research. Code was a lead asst. at BBHS for 3 years in which they were strong Region Contenders being ousted by high caliber teams such as Pendleton (Mains, Belcher, Verax, Elliot, etc.) and Mason (do we really need to talk about their roster). Then another member of their staff (Ensweiller sp.) was a member of their 2000 10th Region Championship/ Elite Eight Team at BBHS. I think the coaches have been their, done that...agree CC laid an egg against Scott but do some fact finding before you knock on somebody's door;)

Code was a lead asst. at BBHS for 3 years in which they were strong Region Contenders being ousted by high caliber teams such as Pendleton (Mains, Belcher, Verax, Elliot, etc.) and Mason (do we really need to talk about their roster). Then another member of their staff (Ensweiller sp.) was a member of their 2000 10th Region Championship/ Elite Eight Team at BBHS. I think the coaches have been their, done that...agree CC laid an egg against Scott but do some fact finding before you knock on somebody's door;)

I knew he was the head assistant, its just not all the same. Also how is it a knock, calling them inexperinced isn't a knock.

Your statement leaned toward the idea that CCHS (players/staff) have never been in the 10th, not towards coaching experience. CCHS and BBHS have been members since 96. The game Saturday was a joy to watch and I have seen these ball clubs on a couple occassions this year. I think they are heading in positive directions and could make some noise the next few years, maybe more.

 

One thing is true though, after watching 10th Region basketball for 15 years 16 and 17 year olds are unpredictable, anything can happen...look at our District, the 40th, didn't think that was going happen!!!

It's a strange situation that Campbell County is experiencing when their style of play is a slower tempo but the team seems be pretty comfortable at fast paced game. I believe as you've seen with the pevious posts that everyone feels the Camels can't handle an up tempo game. I don't believe that's the case at all. I'm looking forward to seeing Clark play, I've heard a lot of good things about them.
