Be honest, can Southern break the Rockcastle jinx. Two new head coaches and Southern has never won. Where will the game be played this year.

 

The Rock will still be hard.

Madison Southern looked good at times versus Washington Co. last Friday. The offense began to flow on there last two possesions (first team). The defense had two picks but gave up one deep pass for a touchdown. Rico Brown ran very very hard. The offensive line still needs to gell a little more, and the defense needs to keep their assignments a little better. Southern scrimmages Dayton this Friday which should be a good matchup. Coach Brumley's kids are buying into his philosophy. The schedule is very tough, but I think this is a playoff team that should not go overlooked. This year they will be competitive, but they are young with 16 juniors. Next year will be when Southern really turns some heads...GO EAGLES!
