Predictions?

 

The two split games duing the season with each winning on the home court of the other. I'll say Esill County by 7.

Owsley is playing better. If Kendra Combs plays well (she's had health problems since late last season), and the others do their part, I believe the Lady Owls can pull this one out by 5.

I am going to pick the Owls in this one by 10. Because they have been playing well of lately. Does anyone know the score of last nights game between PCC and Owsley?

The Lady Owls lost by 18 points, but the Lady Commodores only led by 7 with 4 to go in the 3rd quarter. From what I was told, the game was close during the first half, but PCC's bench proved too much for the Lady Owls. I agree with the Professor, the last 5 games they have played have been their best this season and if Kendra Combs is well, the Lady Owls can defeat the Lady Neers. I think the Lady Owls are ready for district play. They have had numerous problems this season, but didn't give up and quit when the going got tough, so I will agree with Owlz Fan and say the Lady Owls will win by 10+ on Tuesday night at Powell. Go Lady Owls.

Definitely been an up and down season for these two opponents. Estill began the season 0-10 before running off 9 victories in their next 12. They seemed to have everything going their way in Irvine, but fell on hard times once again by going 2-4 over their last six games. Owsley on the other hand started off on fire. They were one of the early favorites in the district and Class A region. They won a big tournament in Florida in route to an 8-5 record to start the year. At that time, their head coach left and things seemed to fall apart. Owsley lost 6 consecutive games and the season appeared to be over until two weeks ago. Since then, they have re-found their way while running off 4 consecutive wins. They lost last night in a tough battle with PCC. Owsley has the more talented team and they now have the momentum. They could be the dark-horse favorite to win the 56th. I think they will win big on Tuesday night. Owsley 58 Estill 42.
