Many are too young to remember Conner's Randy Strich who was a great player in the 70s. Here is a story on what he's doing now - sort of important stuff:

I do remember him and yes, I'd say it's pretty important stuff. Nice story on a NKY native.

I recently saw Randy and his family about a week or so ago at his mother's funeral in Hebron. They are all fine people.

The article was written by Steve Eschenbach , a Conner grad, who graduated from MIT.

Isn't this what is all is about? Great if you can make it as a pro athlete but if not use the college scholarships to educate yourself and then help others!!!!

Kudos to Randy and all the others out there making a difference!!!!

Way cool article, cshs81! It is good to read about a former Cougar (even though I don't know him - before my time here). As another stated, it is good to see people take advantage of the education that can be had from playing football!

I consider myself to be pretty smart but that article made my head hurt.
