Brandon Phillips Extension?

Brandon is going to be a special player I think. Lock him up in a Reds uniform for as long as possible!

BP might be the best overall 2nd baseman in baseball, he seems to be the only one with all 5 tools. Utley is a better hitter, but isn't great defensivly and isn't incredibly fast. BP might be the best defensive 2nd baseman in the league and is certainly a top 5 hitting 2nd baseman. Glad to have him locked up in Cincy for a while.

Great news!

Still stings they let him walk, doesn't it... :walk:

No I was glad they did he had not done anything in Cleveland and very little in Buffalo. The Tribe is still better so, things worked out well for both parties.:thumb:

His ways in Cleveland? Do you really think he got a fair shake there? He's improved every year since he's been here and I have no doubt he will have another good year.

He was HANDED a job and FAILED to take advantage of it. Yes, he was GIVEN a Fair shot there.

He is the best 2nd basemen in the NL!

My favorite Red for sure. I hope he retires a Red
