February 13, 200818 yr If you are going to count these as quotes of OT, than Joel Osteen quotes Scripture in about every 2 or 3 sentences as he uses the terms God, Lord, Savior rather liberally. Is this a joke or are you serious?
February 13, 200818 yr If there is another way to eternal life other than the blood of Jesus atoning for our sins and the acceptance of that with your heart then God made a horrible tragic mistake by allowing Jesus to die for us. you give no indication that there is another way in this statement, how else am I supposed to take it? Not trying to stir but your statement is pretty straightforward and thinking that a muslim who has never heard about Jesus has the opportunity to go to heaven is pretty radical and not what is commonly put forth on this forum.

I am not that shallow in my theology, the next time I post I will make it clear, very clear. I agree with you on what you are saying but your earlier post made it sound like I was saying infants were going to hell, I am not that not dumb nor shallow.

I see that you are fairly new on the forum, and it is good to have you. If you will read through some other threads you will see that there has been some lengthy discussion on this point, in various contexts. I did not mean to imply that you were either dumb or shallow, nor that anyone who believes that the ONLY way to heaven is through Jesus is dumb or shallow. I was simply pointing out some tough situations that the belief would lead you to.

If you say so, I think that you think that I am a Osteen basher, I am not but I do disagree with him about saying Jesus didnt quote a lot of scripture...just wait and I will PM you.
