I used to be a basketball manager for this school back when I attened ALC, and when Gary Gibson was the head coach. I know they made the sweet 16 last year and I am curious if anyone from eastern ky could give me some insight on how this years team is doing? I have heard they have some outstanding guards (stepp) and I believe that Cox is too a good player.

 

I actually remember seeing those boys play when they were small.

They are a solid team. JBS was 16-3 a couple weeks ago but lost three straight to Hazard, Perry County Central and Cordia. They got back in the win column Saturday night against Johnson Central.

 

JBS has a team capable of winning the 14th Region and making a return trip to Rupp Arena, but right now they are behind Hazard.

I was at ALC back in the day. Just wondering if I know you or anything. I was there in 95-97.

Yes, 51-46.

 

The irony is that last year Hazard beat JBS in the All "A" Regional, but JBS beat Hazard to go to Rupp.

 

A repeat this season is possible.
