Did you see the game? Paris shot 10/52 from the field. When a Paris player shoots a wide open jump shot and misses, you can't credit the other team with playing good defense. If Paris knocks down just 5 of those WIDE OPEN shots, the game is not even close. Trimble County's (Miller) did block a few shots but that was expected considering that she is 6'3" or taller. You are right, defense is NOT just about creating turnovers but if you saw the same game that I saw, you would know that Paris got every shot that they wanted fairly easy.

You are right. In your eyes, you see that Trimble Co caused Paris to shoot 19% although Paris was shooting wide open shots. In my eyes, I see a Paris team that couldn't shoot it in a river, shot 19% for the game and was still able to win the game by only scoring 26 points. :ylsuper:

That's fine...don't bother with giving Trimble any credit. I guess they would have scored only 26 points playing 3rd graders.
