You are right about the article, it was very nice. The point of my thread wasn't about the enquirer's performance, but just that I though Mr. Ernst probably should have mentioned that Highlands had a couple of games this week and his implication that the Boone/Conner game was somehow going to set the stage for a 9th region showdown and a shake up in the polls. Perhaps he wrote the article prior to this past weekend, then it would make a little more sense I suppose. The shake up in the polls should occur as a result of Highlands's two victories over Conner and one over Boone. Maybe it's just semantics, but oh well. :thumb:

 

The article was about big games. Games that should be close and key to the top of the rankings.

Highlands should win both of their games by more than 15 and probably 20.

 

Not sure how those two blowouts rank with a key and close game of Boone/Conner.

 

Is Highlands better than those two teams. Yes, they proven that. But that is not what the story was about.

As I mentioned in my earlier post Highlands does have a game on Wednesday.

They play Bellevue.

 

I was going by the KHSAA website and the game against Bellevue is not listed.

Not necessarily. Maybe that's just me, but I'm just as content going to a smaller game than just the big ones.
