Congratulations to my former coach and close friend Dave Faust on winning his 250th game Saturday against NCC in the ALL A Classic 9th Region Final.

Many people in the state know how great of a coach Dave Faust is and how he wouldn't want any recognition for this great accomplishment. Even after being present with the game ball on Saturday, he turned to the crowd and tried to give credit to his former players who sat behind the Crusaders bench. We can't take any credit whatsoever. He has earned the title as one of the best coaches in the state of Kentucky.

While at St. Henry Faust has compiled 250wins, 6 Regional All A Championships, 4 33rd District Championships, 1 9th Region Championship, and one very special All A Classic State Championship in 2003.

Many of us former players owe Coach Faust many thanks for molding us into somewhat decent youngmen and somewhat decent basketball players. I personally thank Coach for being my role model and someone who I have tried to follow the footsteps of as now I start my basketball coaching career.

Congratulations and thank you to Coach Faust!!!:thumb:

That's quite an achievement, congratulations to one of the most genuine and nice people in 9th region basketball.

Great coach but an even greater person. Could not have happened to a better person!

Congrats to Coach Faust--250 more!!
