Good win for a well coached team, Pineville. After this year if may be a long time before they beat Bell again IMO.

Agreed Breeze! With Strange and Day they have a realistic shot come Tourney time. Maybe 20 more years.

20 years is a long time but you may be right. If they play at tourney time they both will be happy because it would be the region.

Bell was not without any players. Robbins played with a bandage on his eye and Zachery was not suspended. Word was the KHSAA was to review the tape and Zachery was allowed to play. Someone also said Carton was the player that received the suspension but I have no idea if that is true.

 

How long has it been since Pineville had beaten Bell Co.? I dont believe they have won since I graduated high school in 2001, and I know they didnt win in the four years I played. So the mid 90's has to be the last time they won at best.
