I think Hazard's defense had a lot to do with the way Cumberland played. They were very aggressive and hit the floor after loose balls. Hazard's defense is what sparks their offense. Coach Holland has them playing very good on that end of the floor.

This was a great game. Easy to see that these two teams are two of the best in the mountains. The Warren kid was a big lift for them. Hazard is very physical and gives it on both ends of the court. They go after lose balls and really runs their offense to a T. JBS will have their hands full tonight. Cumberland also is very physical and has a great shot at winning the 13th. Great game overall.

Not sure, but if they go to that school can they not practice, are they not only inegible to play in games? Not sure.

I'm not defending Cumberland or making excuses but this game wasn't a team playing to their best potential. Cumberland is every bit as good as their hype. However, just by watching them, they won't overly impress you by making spectacular plays or running up and down the court. Their style is not one of flash but one of playing to their strengths. Although they won't look overwhelmingly great in their wins, don't think that they won't beat teams more often than not. As for Friday, I attended the game and saw a team that got away from what they should be doing, playing careless, and sometimes playing a little selfish. Coach Edwards, Akal, and Creech will fix that, you can take that to the bank.

I watched the game last night and I'm not as impressed with Cumberland as I thought I would be. I don't believe there's much room between themselves and some other teams.
