St. Patrick 95 Deming 87

Congrats to the Saints. Agree with Devilman, Deming needs to concentrate on defense, especially when playing the saints. Hopefully they'll do better in all "A".

They ought a fire the defensive coordinators for obvious reasons and backcourt coaches for the turnovers but by all means keep the play callers.

The next meeting in Mount Kingemville is for all the marbles. The first 3 games were nothing but practice.

Did they change the name of Mount Olivet?

As of right now no one on Deming's Team is playing defense. A team doesn't put up 90+ points and have 5 players double digits. I believe all of the starters were in double digits. Deming got beat probably 20 times last night with there press if I were coaching I would not let my players pick up a ball the day after a defensive effort like last night. They would be doing nothing but running and working of DEFENSE.[/QUOTE]

At least make them run with a ball.

This offensive explosion came after in the JV game the end of the first quarter, it was 3-1.

Nathan Mitchell comes off the bench each game and draws the toughest person to defend and plays hard. He also lacks consistency in scoring but his defense lacks nothing.

People seem to forget that games are won or lost on the defensive end. Nathan does play well. I believe I mentioned on another thread a while back that he should see more playing time as well. It seems as though there is so much attention focused on just a few players that some forget that it takes a TEAM to win games. That's a concept that makes Mason County so successful. They play together, unselfish like a team. I believe that Deming will improve greatly when this lesson is learned.

I agree royal1! :thumb:

Special teams looked awful too:creepy:

Mount Kingemville?

Agree 100% with Royal1. It takes a team. When I watch St. Pat, Augusta and most other teams they are playing as a TEAM, they are not trying to rely on 1-2-3 players. It takes them all.

Good point, if they can just get it across to every player in the game things may turn around for the Devils.
