JBS is the favorite. Hazard the sleeper.

Don't dismiss Cumberland ! ! !

 

 

They have the toughest road. Knott Co. Central, then probably Hazard, then a match with JBS. The tourney committee has set it up for a Hazard / JBS final. However, I think Cumberland has the talent to spoil that setup.

 

This will be a great test for the Redskins.

Where is this tourney played?

Hazard will have a tough first game in Clay County. I dont know how good Knox is but I'm guessing they are at least decent, but Pikeville or Breathitt is no walk through for June B.

Seems to be a tough tournament with some quality mountain teams. WYMT did a good job in picking the teams this year, as usual.

 

June B should be the favorite and Hazard or Clay as the 2nd best teams in it, IMO

I think you gonna see some first round upsets. I got Knott at home over Cumberland and Knox over JBS. Hazard and Knox in the finals. I'm changing my original all 14th final.

Hazard has the hardest road, they will have to beat a good Clay county team and if they can squeak by them, they will have to play a tough Cumberland team who will be too strong for the home team Knott Central the first round.

JBS should beat Knox in a good game and will have no trouble with whoever wins the Pikeville/Breathitt games, the 2 weakest teams in the tourney.

I see JBS playing Cumberland in the finals and Cumberland being too strong for the Crusaders.

Very good analysis, I think you could be right on the money. Cumberland is hungry for some good competition and I believe they will be ready to show how strong they are.

Cumberland or Hazard will win it all.
