I wasn't taking your typing to task. It was your inability to spell a last name correctly, I took to task. In the world of journalism, that's as big a mistake as can be made.

Normally, I wouldn't do that on this site, but since you were throwing barbs at the Enquirer and Ryan Ernst, I thought it was approperiate as a point of reference. I think it's called irony. ;)

Not barbs, facts. From the mouth of Ryan Ernst himself to me. Don't let the facts get in the way of a good post!!!:D

I guess we'll keep playing this one out...Fine.

I'm not sure what Ryan Ernst told you, but I can tell you for a FACT, which areas (schools) get coverage, and just how much coverage they get isn't made at the reporter level. Never has been, never will be.

And as almost always, my facts are ducks in a row in all of my posts on this subject. I resent you saying otherwise without any proof. :irked:

Touché

Cute, but the misspelling of common words such as appropriate on this site are pretty numerous. Often, these and even smaller words are misspelled as the result of a typo. No big deal, because it isn't a proper name, in the print world a spell check would catch it.

They don't fit into the same category as misspelling a proper name, one is an oops, the other is a cardinal sin. Nice enough try though.

Before you use such big words SANDY you might want to reference your thesaurus.:jump:

Why, did I misuse the word, appropriate? No, I used it in it's proper context, thus no need for a thesaurus. Wrong book. :jump::jump:

It would have been a dictionary I should have sought, but why quibble. :D

And who is SANDY?

I'm okay with the words I use, thanks for the advice though. I'll give it the thought it deserves. Sandman.

Good come back but you still can't spell!

I've never won a spelling bee, but if BGP ever sponsers one, I'll throw my hat in the ring and half like my chances. And half, not.

I'm pretty good with the king's English, but spelling has never been a strong suit. Spelling the language is hard because so many words do not spell as they sound.

That said, I'd kick myself twice and curse three times if I ever misspelled a proper name, just shouldn't happen.

And we started down this long winding road because buttels chose to criticize a member of the fourth estate, while breaking one of its cardinal rules in the same post. I found that ironic, to say the least.

I could really careless about that paper, I told Ernst in an e-mail and phone message I would never say that papers name again and never buy one again. Because as long as "The Best Little Weekly in Kentucky"- the The Gallatin co News is covering the cats thats all that matters.

Wow, maybe we can get into this week's episode of this and that.

Unless it is Boone, Conner, Cov Cath, New Cath or Highlands it does not get in the paper. Enquirer is TERRIBLE!!!!!

We should probably close the topic since the game was almost a week ago and we're way off topic.

Gallatin Co./Henry Co. and Newport/Lloyd tonight.

Is that a white flag I see? J/K. ;)
