GRC 67 Henderson Co 49

Featured Replies

GRC was ahead by 31 with 3:17 to go in the game. GRC emptied the bench and Henderson Co hit several 3's for the final score.

Good game by Robert Hatton and Robby Stenzel. Also good floor game by Williams and Miller and Bennett. GRC out scored Herderson 18-6 in the 2nd quarter and 20-6 in the 3rd quarter.

Scoring, I didn't get all the scores, but here is what I could remember.

GRC

Stenzel 23

Hatton 23

Bennett 10

Williams 4

Rogers 2

Deni 2

Thomas 2

Henderson Co

Terry 23

Patterson 3

Hail 5

Tramell 0

Tramell had 18 last night...great defense by the Cards on him tonight.

GRC will face the winner of the Ashland/ Florida team at 8:30 tomorrow night in the finals.

GRC is now 8-3, Henderson Co is 6-4. Tonights loss to GRC is Henderson first loss to a Kentucky school this year.

Clark Co played a good game on both ends . Bennett , Hatton and Stenzel had a very good shooting night. Thought Lewis came in and got some key rebounds. They were fun to watch tonight. GRC was up by 30 or more before they emptied the bench. :fight:

Congrats, GRC!! Good luck in the championship game.

Thanks,:thumb: I thought we could win tonight, but never dreamed it would be the blow out it was. Coach said on his post game show that this was the best game we have played all year....excluding the last 3 minutes.

GRC was very impressive tonight. I was looking in the program and found out that #21 and #44 for GRC were frshman and #3 were sophmores. Theses players were very good and will only get better in time.

#21 is Robby Stenzel, he started last year for GRC as a 8th grader. #44 is Cory Rogers, #3...for the life of me I can't remember who's # that is, and a sophomore..... maybe d-dawg can help me out. Like I stated eariler , GRC is rebuilding this year. With our 5 Freshman on the varsity and our other underclassman, GRC will be a force to deal with for the next few years.

ol"dad Who won the Ashland game?

As a basketball fan I hope so but if they play Ashland in the near future I hope not...

Number 3 is Robert Hatton, a junior.

Solid win for GRC! I thought this one would be a tough test for the Cards. Way to represent the 10th well.

Good luck against Ashland

Thanks. We are playing much better ball than at the beginning of the season. Just taking time for all the new ones to learn the system.Hopefully we we continue to improve as the season goes along. Ashland will be hard to beat on their home floor.
