Mason Co got out to an early 10-2 lead in the first quarter. I think that they had the lead at 20-14 after the first quarter. After that RC took over. Mason Co got within 5 in the 4th but couldn't get any closer. Cline had around 20 points makine All Tourny Team

It was 8-0 Mason early...RC got it to 20-16 at the end of one and led by 9 at the half. RC got it to around 13 and kept it there until they missed some free throws late. Cline was great; she had 27. Chambers had 14. For RC, Brockman had 17, Barr had 15, Riddle 13, Martin 10, and Spurlock 10. RC went 3-1 and had noone make all tourney.

I certainly agree with your thoughts. This team has no size but will flat get out and guard you. They are quick as lighting, have good ball handlers, and really are patient on offense. East Carter has dropped from their preseason # 1 ranking and really has been a disappointment. The kids at Rowan County play hard for their first year head coach. They are fun to watch and you can't overlook them.

Can't say I was trying to indicate them being an easy win. Just stating I heard they haven't been playing the best basketball they can play.
