Bengal Fans: Are You Rooting For the Brownies Sunday?

Recommended Posts

Yes that is the game I was talking about. Regardless of typically making sound draft selections, this would have helped the Steelers improve their draft position. And now, the Bengals can play spoiler to the Browns. Seems like a pretty similar situation to me.

Not remotely. Currently, if the Bengals finish with 2 L's they can finish no lower on the board than 9th. However, they're more likely to finish 7th or better. I'd say middle of the road last season 15/16th in draft order is a far cry from what the Bengals could end up with at 6 or so, for example. I'd guess a player in that range should make an immediate impact. But hey,,,I'm with you, Go Bengals!!

I'm not going to be sitting in my seats at PBS Sunday, cheering for the Browns to win, I'll be cheering for the Bengals, but I won't care one bit if they lose.

Positives from winning:

They beat a division rival.

They win a game.

Positives from losing:

They improve their draft status.

They keep hope alive of the Steelers not winning the division.

Winning this game, will not do the Bengals any good.
