December 17, 200718 yr BTW, when Gillispie inherited a less talented team at A&M, I'm guessing he could at least put together a starting lineup full of scholarship players? We may have better, more highly recruited scholarship players but we've also got a walk-on in the starting lineup and another guy who only came to UK because we'd let him play immediately (see Ramon Harris).

My first 3 choices for the coaching position when Tubby resigned were Billy Donovon John Calipari Billy Gillispie If Billy G is fired, and I don't think deserves to or is going to, it should be Calipari.

If something happens and BCG doesn't return us to glory, you can bet the farm that the next coach at UK will be Pelphrey.

This is hearsay and stupid so I don't know why I'm posting, but... If Pelphrey has four straight losing seasons at Arkansas and the Kentucky job is open in 2011, you really want to put that beautiful barn and pasture on him becoming the next coach?
