Jessica Farris was the high scorer with 19 points! Walton was overmatched from the beginning with Simon Kenton nailing the 3's against Waltons zone defense.

Not pretty!

Just what I was expecting.

Not pretty!

Couldn't say it any better. Just don't understand what Walton's game plan was? Played a 3'2 zone, at the start, and packed that zone in. Which made SK shoot threes. Well, thats what the girls want to shoot, is 3's. So, Simon came out hitting, and Walton just gave up after that. Just bad everything.

Give Simon credit---they may be the team to beat this year in the 8th--SK can make a lot of teams look bad when those 3's are going in

If I could hire just one coach from the present NKY coaches to coach my daughter's team, it would be Coach Stowers (hope I got his name correct?). He has done a great, great job at Simon Kenton and I hope they win the 8th this year and he gets rewarded for the great job he has done.

SK was winning 4-5-6 games a year and he has taken them to where they are consistently one of the top 3-4 teams in the 8th region.

Wonderful job and for what it is worth, best coach in NKY IMHO.

I agreee. He is an outstanding coach. Their half court defense is really good. With what I have seen, He aslo seems to be a really good man also.

As far as the game, I was pretty accurate on this one. SK makes good teams look bad.

He is a great coach, but it doesn't hurt to have a team as loaded as he does. He came in at the best possible time with amazing talent coming through the program. That aside, he really does do a great job.

True.

Agreed on Coach Stowers.

WV should keep there heads up, they have a lot of strong players and will continue to improve as the year goes on.!

I think that Coach Stowers may be near the end @ SK. I don't think they are very strong coming up. If anyone can turn it around, Stowers can.

Not really sure on them being strong. They have a very good freshman team. Tolliver is just a junior and not to mention there are several underclassmen that see the floor some in the Varisty games.
