Any fans of the Wire here? Would love to get a discussion going on the previous seasons and upcoming one.

Favorite show on TV. Unfortunately, I have to wait for it to come out on DVD to see the season 5.

Omar comin'!

Great, great show. I've spent some time in Bodymore Murderland myself, and that show is as real as taxes.

Just finished up the first season and love it. Will definitely be getting into the rest soon.

I've watched each season a couple of times and you really catch more and more of the creativeness and subtle things the writer's include. What is everyone's favorite season?

1st or 4th. Hard to say.

Second. Everything about the stevedore's union is awesome. The second to last episode where they do that mob-movie homage where all the action is going on with the Greek music playing the background... unreal.

This is probably the best show on TV now that The Sopranos is done. One of my friends loaned me the first season on DVD last year and I've now watched everything through the third. The fourth will be on HBO On Demand through digital cable next month... can't wait.

Season 2 was very cool. Watching how the characters develop and ultimately self-destruct. Ziggy's meltdown, how you saw it coming really keep me glued.

Loved both of those seasons, I think season 1 is my all-time favorite though.

All seasons are my favorite. But If I had to pick one I would say season 2. When does the new season start. I know this is the last season, HBO didn't renew the show. So as soon as it is over I am cancelling HBO and just buy Entourage Season's on DVD.

Having now watched the first 3 episodes from the new season what is everyone's impression? I am pleased so far but really hate to see what trouble McNulty is getting into. This can't end well for him or Freeman.

NPR had an interview with the actor who plays Omar today on Fresh Air, and it was really insightful to hear his take on the character. I think this season has opened very strong, I can't wait to see how it develops.

I'd love to get a link on that video if you have one. The preview for Sunday's episode looks really strong.

I'm hooked on this show, I just started the 2nd season. Kind of thought it was weird how the 2nd season starts out, but I can see how everything is going to start coming together. Omar is definately my favorite character.

Omar is absolutely my favorite as well. Unfortunately, I don't get HBO, so I need to wait until Season 5 comes out on DVD (or BET) to see anything
