St. Henry District High School vs. CovCath Tuesday at CovCath.

Last year with Brown and Bovard still out from winning the 3A State Football Championship, and Schult out due to injury, St. Henry defeated CovCath at St. Henry. Will CovCath be ripe for a upset considering that they just beat LexCath and will playing Mason County on Friday, or will CovCath be out to revenge last years loss? I know the Crusaders always look at this game as one of their biggest games of the year....but with all the Seniors St. Henry lost from last years team, will they be up to the task on Tuesday at CovCath?

Who wins this Ninth Region matchup?

CCH should cruise in this one, if only because of the experience difference. It won't hurt that they have a big size advantage, have a revenge motive and are at home either!! Faust coaching edge will keep it respectable.

I can admit I haven't seen the Crusaders this year but I did see the CovCath vs. LexCath game and was impressed.

The Crusaders are in the middle of a rebuilding year and have some nice talent to do this with. Fellow Juniors, guard Cameron Speed and Forward Dave Zumdick might be the two best players in the 9th that no one has heard of.

The question for the Crusaders will be how do will they react playing in there first BIG varsity game. I remember my first start at CCH and it wasn't pretty. How will they react to the CCH press?

Barring a CCH letdown, I see a long night for Dave Faust and hopefully one he can chalk up as a learning experience.

With that said, nothing would surprise me.

Just curious: When did St. Henry stop becoming just St. Henry and add all that extra "district school" stuff? Are there a bunch of other St. Henry High Schools out there that there is a need to distinguish? It makes about as much sense as "THE Ohio State University."

When St. Henry left the old building on Dixie Hwy they became SHDHS and also became a District High School. St. Henry had the option to change the name but the students and alumni voted for it to stay the same. I guess to help differentiate that St. Henry School and St. Henry High School are no longer affiliated they added the District HS.

St. Henry School is still located on Dixie Hwy.

The only other St. Henry I know of is a football power in Northern Ohio.
