Ram Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Bret has added to his awards for the season: Bret rushed for over 1000 yards in 10 games, had over 500 yards receiving, led the team in tackles - averaging over 10 per game, and was awarded the Army IronMan of the Week Award. Now, Bret has made the All-Area Team, for North-Eastern Kentucky, and was also named Co-MVP for District 5, and will be recognized at half time of the 1A State Championship Game. Congratulations to Brett, and hopefully he will receive some more awards before this year is over. A well deserving young man that leaves all he has on the field.
Ram Posted December 1, 2007 Author Posted December 1, 2007 Well done, Bret! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: I don't know if you know or not, but Hayden is the other Co-MVP for our district.

It is a great honor for him and the entire Ram program and I am sure that Brett will be the first to say that without his team mates it would not have been possible to have the success I am a firm believer that good things happen to good people and it would be hard to find a better person than Brett Denton and the entire Denton Family. He is a prime example of what a high school Student/Athlete should be. Again Congrats to Brett and I am looking forward to watching him showcase his talent next season. CountyPride Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Just checked out that website, who in the world votes for this? Brett and Tyler Jones definetly deserving. Havent heard of the Lawrence County and Rowan County players selected, probably deserving. But Baldridge and Goldsmith picked as coaches?? Wow, they didnt even make the final game of their district.
