This game will be played at Harlan in the Doc Gray Classic on Saturday. Any thoughts on this game?

It's difficult to say with Owsley County at this point. They didn't look very good in their two srimmage games, losing by double digits to Whitley County at home, and losing by around 25 to Cordia in Hazard. They have had some players out, though. Senior forward Josh Reed missed both scrimmages due to an ankle injury. He should be coming back soon, maybe against Jackson City tonight. One of the guards did not play agaist Cordia as well. The Owls have a new coach, Doug Noble, and getting readjusted to a new system takes time.

They'll get a good test tonight at Jackson City, who always plays well at home, and who have some very solid players.

How they will do against Evarts is anyone's guess (plus I know absolutely nothing about Evarts.)

Evarts graduated 4 of their 5 starters from a 3 win team. Owsley lost two players one starter. Of course the fact that Owsley is going into the 13th to play Evarts the outcome could be skewed. Good luck to both teams

You have to factor in that bus ride over there. That won't be a good way to start a game.

Man this game was crazy.. Evarts made a great effort, they was down by 30+ at the half and came within 10 in the 4th.. Good game to watch at the end..
