December 2, 200718 yr Looks like I may have been 1 and done in this league even if I win..Not sure how the whole thing is going...I blame it on Larry Johnson and Javon Walker.
December 3, 200718 yr Well I could say this...If the Bengals lose I win!! Yeah I am done with the way that field is up there. No why Carson throws for more than 2 TD's.
December 3, 200718 yr The Rowdies are in, as the Lifers fail to submit a lineup..... We backed in, but we are in the playoffs.... :dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa
December 3, 200718 yr Author Scores After the Sunday Afternoon Games Owensboro Oilers (40 pts) at Cincinnati Spartan Warriors (0 pts) Banklick Swamp Gas (78 pts) at Atwood Fighting' Amish (75 pts) Sawville Gym Shoes (62 pts) at Russell - Flatwoods Breakmen (73 pts) Middle Fork Mustard Seeds (57 pts) at Bardstown Butchers (71 pts) Rabbit Hash Rowdies (69 pts) at Lagrange Lifers (0 pts) Junction City Jailcats (78 pts) at Louisville Wildcats (33 pts) Pikeville Red Dawgs (57 pts) at Jungle Junkies (46 pts) Bushwood Country Club Gophers (86 pts) at BG Trash Talkers (101 pts)
December 3, 200718 yr The eight playoff teams (along with BoondockSaint) combine with the 16 teams of the original league next year to form a 32 team league. Ummm ... that equals 24.
December 3, 200718 yr Author So what are the playoff tiebreakers? It will come down to the head to head records of the tied teams.
December 3, 200718 yr Author Ummm ... that equals 24.Actually 25. Seven new members will be allowed to play next year. If there isn't seven new members wanting to try their luck, then the highest finishing teams will be invited back.
December 3, 200718 yr It will come down to the head to head records of the tied teams. I guess I'm looking for a little bit more in depth than that. For instance, if the games ended right now there'd be five of us tied for two playoff spots. Does head to head mean if one team swept all the others or is it best won-loss among games played against the other teams (e.g. I'm 4-2 versus the other 4)? I looked on your website for the regular BGP Keeper League from last year and you linked to this page for your tiebreakers. Is that still the same? I'm only asking because suddenly the playoff possibility I gave up on long ago is suddenly within reach, and I'm anxious to see my fate.
December 3, 200718 yr Hmmm. If I done the calculations correctly I might get the last spot..It may come down to me and the gophers and we're 1-1 against each other, and I beat him by 9 and he beat me by 4 so that gives me a 5 point margin if we did it that way. Who knows though!

Who knows though! I don't know, I'm feeling pretty good about my chances. Right now there's four of us tied for the last spot (Middle Fork Mustard Seeds, Owensboro Oilers, BG Trash Talkers, and Bushwood Country Club Gophers), and you could/should join us if Tom Brady gets you 14 points. If it's straight head to head records involving those teams, I'm 4-2, Bushwood is 3-2, Pikeville is 2-3, Owensboro is 1-2, and Middle Fork is 1-2. That's why I'm trying to get clarification on what head to head exactly means. If we go by what I found in that link in my post, it gets much more involved. But the #1 thing you should know is if it goes by that it starts by going to a tiebreaker within each division, that being the best divisional record (among me, you, and Bushwood) which will belong to me after tonight.
December 3, 200718 yr The Jailcats ownership is happy they don't have to be worrying about tie-breakers right now. Looks like they'll be riding a 7 game winning streak into the playoffs.

Ok well right now these teams are in: Flatwoods (12-0) Junction City (9-3) Swanp Gas (9-3) Amish (8-4) Jungle Junies (8-4) 3 spots left: Oilers (5-7) Won this week (6-7) Mustard Seeds (6-6) Down 14 with 2 left to play win and your in. Shoes (5-7) Lost this week (5-8) he's out Dawgs (5-7) Down 14 with Tom Brady playing tomorrow BG (5-7) won tihs week (6-7) Rowdies (6-6) Won this week (7-6) in You're right. I think your in, but if the mustard seeds lose I think I might be in. Who knows though.
