Final...

The Lady Raiders struggled early and dug themselves a deficit. They seemed unfocused and unsure of themselves, which was suprising as all starters are seniors. However, they improved after the half.

I do not know much about Franklin but tough loss for the Lady Raiders!

 

It was probably just 1st game jitters and I am sure they will re-group and win some big ones! See you on Friday!

Franklin is a very experienced team and I look for them to have great season and dethrone the Jay Lucas and the Yellowjackets of their district title!

Joey Thacker has done an excellent job at Franklin County and has a good mix of veteran players and some very promising younger players in the pipeline that should keep the Lady Flyers competitive for several years. They have a good program at Elkhorn and some of those girls will be contributors. I am sure one of their goals this year will be to end Coach Jay Lucas' Woodford Co. stranglehold on that district and his consecutive district game win streak.
