True blue (and gold) Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 The Lady Raiders struggled early and dug themselves a deficit. They seemed unfocused and unsure of themselves, which was suprising as all starters are seniors. However, they improved after the half.

REH5 Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Joey Thacker has done an excellent job at Franklin County and has a good mix of veteran players and some very promising younger players in the pipeline that should keep the Lady Flyers competitive for several years. They have a good program at Elkhorn and some of those girls will be contributors. I am sure one of their goals this year will be to end Coach Jay Lucas' Woodford Co. stranglehold on that district and his consecutive district game win streak.
