JBS vs Berkmar, GA Dec 1/thoughts and predictions

JBS plays in the commodore classic saturday at 5:30 against a team from Georgia.

It is hard to really make a prediction when you don't know the out of state team that well, but I like JBS' chances against anyone they play. They are very solid offensively and can put a lot of pressure on the defensive end as well.

[Master of the Hardwood]

This team from Georgia is if not the top team in 5A in Georgia, is in the top 2. They are loaded. Will be a good test for the Crusaders and let them know where they are at early in the season.

Sounds like a good matchup for JBS. It doesn't hurt to play the best. It only gets you prepared for the tournament.

[Master of the Hardwood]

Pretty much every game that they have outside the region is to get ready for the tourney in march. They have a tough out of region schedule. They have to play all of the teams in their district twice, which waters down their strength of schedule, but they more than make up for it with the other teams that they play out of the region. Will be good to see how they match up with teams up state. They will play Lex Cath, probably Mason if they win the 1st game of a tourney they are in, this Georgia team and several others that will be good tests for them and prepare them for a run in the state tourney.

Is the Commodore Classic a one and done or do the winners play again? I was hoping there would be a chance JBS would play Mason.
