Could some of the CCH supporters on BGP give us an early preview of the Colonels for next year? I understand that the QB Isler will be back, as will some of the offensive linemen. I'm pretty sure they lose Buckley and Furnish. What about the TE Punch? Where do you guys see CCH being preseason ranked in 5A in 2008???

On D, you lose almost all of the starting unit with Pat Van Sant returning as the #1 player on the unit and team and potentially NKY.

 

Solid sr-to-be class coming back.

 

It will be interesting in the offseason to see what changes Dave B. makes. He got such a late start that I would expect to see some additions to the staff which would help a lot.

I am confident that it will be a very competitive squad in Park Hills. I am also confident that the JV's game against HHS will not be an indication of the calibre of play that the varisty will bring to HHS next year!

 

2008 Bluebirds, start getting ready now. Don't wait for #17 to be hoisted into the air at the pizza box. Cov Cath is in the weight room preparing themselves for a winning 2008 campaign.

I think 5a district will be a 2 horse race between Cov Cath and Highlands and probably will be for a while. Dixie loses to much talent to contend with either of these 2 teams. Scott looking for new head coach and loses over 50 percent of their team to graduation, will be young an inexperienced next year. Holmes loses alot of offensive weapons especially at quarterback and wide receiver. I do believe with open enrollment Dixie might contend again within 2 to 3 years. Simon Kenton will be the top team in the Kenton County School System for the next 3 or 4 years.

I think Isler is only a junior??? I doubt they would start the Soph over the Senior....You never know though..
