Sheldon Clark has been dealt a tough hand. Playing without Dials and Kelley and a couple others is a really big blow to this team. Dials is a pleasure to watch and it is a shame he had to miss his last game.

 

I have a lot of respect for the effort Sheldon Clark put forth. I was especially impressed with Damon Hensley and the way he played. He played several positions and gave it his all.

 

Good luck to the Pirates this week as we go on the road and face a very good Somerset team.

SC fought valiantly, but the injuries killed any chance they had, thus Belfry just trampled the Cards.

 

Some good things for Belfry from tonight:

-Starters got to rest and stay fresh

-Elkins looked 100%

-Thomas Varney was awesome

- Offense was clicking on all cylinders it seemed

 

Bad things that can be overlooked in a lopsided win:

- Belfry dropped about 7 Interceptions

- Tackling was uncharacteristic

 

Bad Things That has to Be Corrected:

-Kickoff coverage was atrocious, Cole will eat Belfry up if they cover kicks like last night
