November 20, 200718 yr Honest to goodness, I tried this and messed up...I was trying to pit the 1978 Pittsburgh Steelers against the 1972 Dolphins with Miami being the home team...with normal weather conditions. However, I messed up and left Pittsburgh at 2006. The Result 2006 Steelers - 16 1972 Dolphins - 10 In OT... Now, how can I take the '72 Dolphins seriously, when they can't even beat the 2006 Pittsburgh Steelers on their home filed on whatifsports...did the Steelers even make the playoffs last year?

You didn't rig it right. :thumb: But as you see above they can beat the Cowboys. Actually it's a fun sight for many venues: NFL, MLB, College Football and Basektball. You have to play series and look at the home field, condition factors that influence outcomes as well.

I just thought it was funny that I accidentally left Pittsburgh at '06 and they won...in Miami. And, I'm dead serious that it was my first try. I could probably play that same game 25 more times and Miami would win them all.
