Honest to goodness, I tried this and messed up...I was trying to pit the 1978 Pittsburgh Steelers against the 1972 Dolphins with Miami being the home team...with normal weather conditions. However, I messed up and left Pittsburgh at 2006.

The Result

2006 Steelers - 16

1972 Dolphins - 10

In OT...

Now, how can I take the '72 Dolphins seriously, when they can't even beat the 2006 Pittsburgh Steelers on their home filed on whatifsports...did the Steelers even make the playoffs last year? :D

You didn't rig it right. :thumb:

But as you see above they can beat the Cowboys.

Actually it's a fun sight for many venues: NFL, MLB, College Football and Basektball. You have to play series and look at the home field, condition factors that influence outcomes as well.

I've checked it out before, but it's been a while. I just thought it was funny that I accidentally left Pittsburgh at '06 and they won...in Miami. And, I'm dead serious that it was my first try. I could probably play that same game 25 more times and Miami would win them all. :D
