November 13, 200718 yr I sure am glad Romo bounced back. My fantasy team was about to be hurting big time!
November 13, 200718 yr Both calls where analyzed...both were deemed holds. Boss' was away from the play but it was obvious...and I agree you could call holding on most plays but to hold away from the ball when the player had no chance of making they play warrants a flag on anyone IMO...all he had to do was get in the way. The Boss call was obvious?! Are you kidding? I watched it 3 or 4 times and it looks like the guy is falling down, and Boss puts his hands on him as he goes down. It is not OBVIOUS either way. It should have been a no call. The refs shouldn't effect the game that much on a weak holding that has ZERO effect on the play.
November 13, 200718 yr I see it as obvious and he is being thrown down but I am a Cowboys fan...and you well you, you support the other team. Therefore I don't think we will agree unless we agree to disagree. Sound good to you?
November 13, 200718 yr The things you learned shouldn't come to much of a surprise. Dallas and Green Bay should be considered the best two teams in the NFL even before this Giants loss. They both had beaten the Giants in weeks 1 and 2. I'm assuming you meant best teams in the NFC.....

November 14, 200718 yr Still the fact remains that the Giants lost in large part because of their quarterback. What is his record against Romo now....0-4???
November 25, 200718 yr Still the fact remains that the Giants lost in large part because of their quarterback. What is his record against Romo now....0-4??? I didn't know he and Romo actually went head to head on the field? Looked to me like Eli played against the Cowboys D and vice versa. Romo started the last 3 vs the Giants and I believe the Giants have lost those 3. Romo came in at halftime in the first meeting between the Giants and Boys last year, and the Giants won that game. So, no I am pretty sure it is not 0-4. But again, Eli didn't lose to Romo, the Giants lost to the Cowboys.
November 25, 200718 yr But Eli was the key factor in the loss in my eyes. Face it to this point he has not lived up to the hype and everyone knows this.

While I agree that to this point he hasn't been as good as he should be, he's only been a full time starter for two full seasons. He's doing just as good as Peyton was at this point during Peytons career. Same amount of wins, and pretty much the same stats. Let's not get too worried about Eli yet...he's still fairly young.
