Could the mountains have 3 representatives in the finals?

Belfry is in! Nobody in that class can slow them down.

Pikeville has a good chance out of the small schools.

Corbin has no chance their defensive defencies were shown last week.

Bell must get over the Rock hurdle and Lex. Cath, but still has a punchers chance.

Johnson Central has a 0% chance due to the teams in the North, although they have a very good team.

I appreciate your honesty. I too, think that the road to the Ville goes through Ft Thomas in 5A. Thank the KHSAA for these new divisions if you all see an inbalance in 5A toward the NKY side.

Was that way for years in 1a and 3a atleast now they don't have a clean sweep in 1a 3a and 4a, everyone else's chances are getting better! Unfortuantly for JC they got stuck with Ft. Thomas and Covington Catholic both field teams, small college's would be proud to have.

Just think if Highlands would have stayed in 3A!!!

IMVHO Corbin does have a chance. They must face a very tough playoff schedule that will be no cake walk but to say they have no chance is not true.  GO HOUNDS GO!!!!

If Highlands would have stayed in 3A it would have done and injustice to those other teams, the Highlands kids, and to the system. What fun would it be playing in a league that you know you will never win? I am not being arrogant here, ok maybe a little, but really!!!! If they put Highlands in 3A they would be like Beechwood, NCC, and the Louisville teams and winning state every year. Oh, wait, they do that anyway playing up 2 levels. Good luck to all you southern teams this year.

Only memories I have was from '92 when your boy Dudley Hilton watered down his field and changed the game on us to Thanksgiving night. We still came down there and beat them. I felt so honored to be a part of that very special team. Thanks Dudley for etching that memory into a season of memories.
