Boys Soccer GRC vs Lexington Catholic in Semi Finals of State

GRC boys soccer team is being noted as "The Road Warriors" They have had to win their games on the road. They will play Lexington Catholic Wednesday night in Georgetown in the State Semi Finals.

 

I really feel the Cards have a great chance of winning this one.....GO CARD S:dancingpa

Just got in from the Pep Rally. The team is ready for another road win. Our record is 16-4-4. The only team in the state of Ky to beat us is Woodford Co. The Cards have played 19 of these games on the road and won....hence the name....ROAD WARRIORS.

LexCath has a good record 8-1 in a stronger region than GRC. LexCath also has played in the title game several times in recent years. You may want to consider this and temper your enthusiasm a little.

LexCath has a great team, but I don't see GRC losing this one. Knights shouldn't be celebrating the state championship just yet.

Not saying LexCath is not a good team.. everybody is at this stage. Apart from Mr. Soccer I've heard they are very young while GRC is loaded with seniors. I think GRC has the mo on their side as well. Good luck to both teams!

From the KHSAA Scoreboard site, the bracket says that the game is tied 1-1 with 35:00 remaining in the match.

 

Not sure when that was posted, but that is the best I can do for you at the current time.

Now the KHSAA scoreboard site says it's tied 3-2. Yes it does say that.

 

Apparently there are only 5:00 remaining in the second overtime.
