  1. 1. Who will win

I see your point, but Owen does have 20 seniors and alot of size.

There skill players can run as well.

The mud should favor Owen, but I will take Trimble

Number of seniors and size do not equal talent. Could you give the names and position of these talented players? I am not trying to be argumentative, just interested.

Not to be negative, but if being a senior and having size meant something, then they should have won more games than 1. Especially the Carroll Game.

Last year Owen was 3-7 with 2 of those wins against first year programs, (Gallatin & Jackson County) and Pendleton County which was in their 3rd year with a very small bench.

Just my opinion but Owen County needs to figure out what's up.

I was actually at the Owen/Carroll game...........anyone that was there would have seen that it wasn't talent that won the game for Carroll. It was offensive coaching on Owen's part. Anyone who moves the ball as well as Owen did and doesn't score says something about the offensive coaching.

Oaks and Snyder are good. Snyder transferred from Henry County where he was a 2 way starter on a team that went 7-3.

Howard and #1 are as talented as anyone in the NCKC. There line is big, but not productive.

Owen played great against Henry. Henry played terrible against Trimble. I do believe that Trimble will win on coaching and Heart.

I guess 80region is thinking that Owen has the talent but their head coach just doesn't utilize it. Am I correct?

Just a thought for this game but I think Owen's DB's might be able to handle Trimble's WR's. Now as for Trimble's running game. That will bea different story.

When it comes to Owen's offense vs. Trimble's defense.............well you can decide that one for yourself. Just jugding by numbers I've seen and been told about I'm gonna have to give that edge to Trimble.

You are exactly right PlayMaker3. Hopefully Owen,s DB's get over their illness and the coach allows them to play. Otherwise Trimble could air it up all night.

Corey jones is not on the defensive line anymore he is now at middle linebacker now that bird is hurt... He is an hard nose player that can lay a hit. With him at that spot he is able to get to the ball a whole lot easier. It will be hard to run away from him!! :fire:

The raiders have to much depth at the wide reciever spots to be shut down. #5 Larry sullivan, is a playmaker with great hands... #2 seems to sneak pass or just behind the defenders and seems to have a spot for the endzone... #4 Jordan Bray will go for the ball is not scared of no contact (is one of the better defensive players also) #25 Jose Moore is not known of and gets his ways with the safetys when his number is called... #8 Aunner Posas great speed and is a devin hester like return specialist!! :dancingpa

And last but not least with a fine line with 4 seniors and 1 junior... senior #75 Josh Boyd... Senior #63 Trent Mullikin... Senior #60 Drew Alexander... Senior #79 Corey Jones... and Junior #73 Trevor Smith!!

I rest my case :ylsuper:!!

#1 Michael Ogden at Corner, and #22 Drew Howard at Safety have 11 or 12 picks between the two of them, and your not gonna out run them, so it should be some good matchups.
